Start here: the 30-second check
Most Lovely Craft install failures come from three causes: an incomplete download, a conflicting old copy, or opening the XAPK with the wrong installer. Work through the fixes below in order and you will be building within minutes.
The LovelyCraft lists the exact version and file size, so you can confirm your download is complete before troubleshooting.
Fix 1: Confirm the full download
Open your Downloads folder and check the file size. The XAPK is ~44 MB. Anything noticeably smaller means the download was interrupted: delete it and grab a fresh copy from the Lovely Craft APK download page.
Fix 2: Remove conflicting copies
App not installed almost always means a signature conflict. Uninstall every existing the game copy, restart the phone, then install fresh. Never install over a modded copy and expect it to work.
Fix 3: Use an XAPK installer
Tapping the XAPK directly often does nothing or throws an error, because the system installer only reads plain APKs. Install a free XAPK installer app and open the file through it. Our XAPK vs APK guide explains the difference.
Fix 4: Allow unknown sources properly
On Android 8 and newer, the permission is per-app: you must allow it for the browser or installer you are actually using, not just anywhere in Settings. When the prompt appears, tap Allow and continue.
Fix 5: Free up space
You need roughly 150 MB free for the unpack plus world data. Clear cache or move photos off the phone if the install stalls near the end.
Fix 6: Check the Android version
this block builder needs Android 5.0 or higher. On very old phones the installer fails silently: check your version under Settings, then About phone.
Fix 7: Re-download as a last resort
Files get corrupted in transit. A fresh download from the Lovely Craft APK homepage link resolves the stubborn cases. If it still fails, email us your phone model and Android version and we will reproduce it on a matching test device.
