How We Review APKs
Every Lovely Craft build on this site passes the same six checks before its download button goes live. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
Our reviewer, Emma Wilson, installs the exact file you can download on her own Android phones. She plays it, measures it and tries to break it. Only builds of Lovely Craft that survive all six checks reach the download page.
The six checks before a download button goes live
Real file, real phones. The exact XAPK you can download is installed on our own Android test phones, not emulators. If it does not install cleanly, it never ships.
Version and size match. The version number, file size, and package name in the listing are read from the actual file. What the page says is what you get.
Signature and permissions check. Every file is scanned for tampering and the permission list is reviewed by hand. Anything that asks for more than a building game needs gets flagged or rejected.
Gameplay smoke test. We open the game, create a world, place and break blocks, and play for at least twenty minutes to confirm the build is playable, not just installable.
Compatibility sweep. The build is tried on phones running Android versions from the minimum up to the latest, so the requirements listed are tested facts.
Re-verify on every update. When a new version arrives, all five checks run again from scratch. Old results never cover new files.
The bottom line
We only publish builds we would install on our own phones. That rule is the whole protocol: real devices, real installs, real playtime, and no download button until every check passes.
